probably would have to change the layout honestly, since you kind of have to give up "neutral" input on one of these and there's not enough easy two-button combinations on the right, but it's like. 5*8 = 40 combinations of {↑→↓←∎} (∎ is neutral here) and {x, x+y, y, y+b, b, b+a, a, x+a} is enough to get started, and you can use some of the shoulder buttons to change input modes and the others for shift/alt/ctrl. also you can use the keys without the buttons to navigate. you get the point.
